What's it all about

What's it all about

With Digiscoping now firmly established the need for somewhere to look for advice and information has become ever more necessary. We hope that we will be able to do this in the following pages, enabling anyone who is interested in the subject to find a method of fixing the Still or Video camera to the telescope. See under ADAPTERS.

It is now possible to fit your Smart Phone to your telescope or binoculars, details of which can be found under Digiscoping with a Smart Phone

The number of digital cameras both still and video is vast, new models seem to appear every week. The information under PHOTO and VIDEO will give a good rule of thumb to the type of equipment that is suitable for digiscoping.Full details of equipment currently available with full specifications can be obtained from the distributors web sites, see under LINKS.

To find out more about digiscoping and to meet our experts or simply to see a selection of excellent binoculars and telescopes come and see us at one of our outdoor days, details under EVENTS. Or visit your local LCE branch; see under CONTACTS for a list of all branches. If there is a specific item that you would like to see at one of these venues, please call the branch listed and we will endeavour to bring it with us.

If you are unable to find the information you require on this site, As an additional LCE.service our site manager ( whilst unable to enter into lengthy correspondence ) would be pleased to point you to a branch or company that may be able to help you. John.fendick@lcegroup.co.uk
